Race Progress Feed

  • Live lead horse times and running order

  • Best for broadcast graphics and on screen speed and time

  • Cumulative time for the lead horse

  • Sectional time for the lead horse

  • Elapsed time of the race, in seconds

  • Speed, in metres per second, of the lead horse

  • Distance remaining to the finish line, in metres

  • Updated between one and ten times per second

Sectionals History

  • Values describing historical distribution of sectional times

  • Used to calculate relative pace during the race (eg FAST/SLOW)

  • Distance in meters to the finish line

  • Probability of fast/medium/slow pace for the lead horse

Back History

  • Full back history of all races that TPD have collected since 2015

  • Best for analysis and testing

  • Survey data of official running lines for each racetrack.

  • Best for mapping data feeds to each track.


Protocol and format

  • Live data is delivered via UDP.

  • Post race is via http.

  • Format for all data feeds is json.

  • You will be supplied with a User Key and Sharecodes to access each data packet.
